Sustainable consumption is becoming increasingly important to consumers worldwide. For 10 years now, the joint programme of Ambiente, Christmasworld, Creativeworld and Nordstil, under the name Ethical Style, has been giving visibility to companies and products that focus on sustainability. The scheme provides orientation for the trade and brings together supply and demand. Online registration for participation in 2025 is open until 22nd November.
The Special Interest embraces different facets of sustainability in six categories: environmentally friendly materials, resource-friendly manufacturing, fair & socially responsible production, re-/upcycling design, handmade manufacturing and sustainable innovation. Exhibitors can apply for participation with individual products, product lines or as an entire company and fulfil one or more of these requirements. An independent jury of international experts will review all submissions.
Buyers looking to make their ranges more sustainable can find participating exhibitors using the 'Ethical Style' label on the stand and in the online exhibitor search. In addition, visitors may find inspiration for a sustainable point of sale at two curated product stages, the Ethical Style Spots, which showcase pieces from selected exhibitors in a promotional way. One of these spots can be found in Galleria 0 on the exhibition grounds, and the other in the foyer of Hall 3.VIA. The Ethical Style programme celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025. It has grown steadily since its inception. Most recently, 377 exhibitors were allowed to use the Ethical Style label. The year before, it was still only 198.
