The Academy offers a variety of courses to choose from, including: Frill Cushion, Beginners Roman Blinds, Beginners Curtains, Piped Cushion, and Box Cushions.
The video-based lessons can be accessed via an online hub, allowing students to learn at their own pace, from the comfort of their own homes, and fit lessons around their busy schedules.
The courses are taught by industry-renowned professionals, including Louise Packwood, an accredited soft furnishings and upholstery instructor and home interior enthusiast.
"Sewing allows you to bring your personal style to life," says Louise. "By crafting your own soft furnishings, you can transform your home into a beautiful and unique reflection of you. The Academy is here to help you unlock your creativity and discover the joy of learning a new skill you can cherish for years to come."
During the process sewers will become familiar with a range of skills including inserting invisible zips, and creating traditional piping and contemporary frills, alongside several stitch techniques which will be useful for future sewing projects for years to come.
Alongside the course content, the Just Fabrics Academy fosters a supportive community for interior design lovers to connect, share ideas, and inspire each other on their sewing journey.
Ross Pieters, Managing Director at Just Fabrics, commented: "We've been developing our expertise in fabrics and interior design for over 35 years, and are so excited to share this passion with our Just Fabrics The Academy students. The Academy offers interior lovers a unique opportunity to broaden their skills and transform their homes with completely bespoke pieces. Plus, with a growing library of courses, our community of sewers will have endless opportunities to hone their craft and expand their skills."
