Iconic print designer Cath Kidston Padgham MBE has partnered with Oxfordshire-based The Indian Block Print Co. to design three exclusive sets of Indian wooden printing blocks and fabric paint palette, inspired by her love of gardening and scented geraniums. The blocks have been designed by Cath's own studio Joy of Print which she founded in 2017. The company designs print and product for international retailers as well as sharing its distinctive portfolio in collaboration with like-minded brands.
Each Indian wooden printing block has been meticulously hand carved by artisans in India using sustainably forested sheesham wood, giving each piece its own unique, life-lasting handprint.
The Indian Block Print Co. is dedicated to promoting joy and confidence through craft. We are passionate about supporting the survival of the ancient craft of block carving, and work directly with our carvers. This collaboration unites master craftsmanship from Rajasthan with Cath's timeless English print designs, from the carving rooms of Jaipur to the everyday kitchen table.
