Visitor numbers at Scotland's Trade Fair Autumn rose by three per cent in September, following a successful tourist season. Following a high number of overseas tourists this year, buyers were keen to restock the shelves for 2020.
The show's new craft gallery proved to be a success, with companies including The Crafty Kit Company, Humblewood, Milomade and Swifty Bell Designs on hand to showcase their latest products.
"This year we introduced new initiatives, such as free tea and coffee after 3:30pm and a drinks party to make the visitor experience that much more enjoyable and give our buyers a good day out," says show director Mark Saunders. "This was certainly achieved, and we are delighted with the positive atmosphere and quality of the buyers."
