The team at Crystal Parade sent us a little project to do over the Easter half term and Lily had a crafty, peaceful time making the lovely sunflower photo holder. Lily says, “The little gem tray was perfect for keeping the gems all in one place.” You then place just a drop of glue on the wooden flower and with the crystals shiny side up you pick them up by touching the top of the crystal with the white tip of the pencil and place it on the top of the beads of glue. Next time, we’d consider colouring in the wooden flower with a sharpie in the coordinating colour of the crystals. The end product is super sparkly and Lily has plenty of rhinestones left over to embellish more of her desktop stationery!
