35 PROFILE How often do you launch new products? New stocks are constant, containers are constantly arriving, with regular and clearance goods. A lot of the clearance items are high-end, high street fashion fabrics at a really low price. How would you advise a retailer who is interested in stocking your products? We’re now offering a facility to split our roll sizes for customers, to make it easier for them to get more of a selection. I’d always suggest to give us (or in particular me) a quick phone call, to give me an idea of what you’re looking for. We can then send samples, photos or emails of designs we carry. We go out of our way to help all our customers, big or small, every customer is important to us. What sets you apart from your competitors? We concentrate firmly on our own business and don’t look to compete with others in our trade. What we do, we do well, we feel no reason to copy others, as this only ends up in a price war, and eventually, everyone loses, so we’ll continue to do, what we do best. Do you visit any trade shows? We visit trade shows all over the world looking for new products, colours and ideas and that’s really exciting for us. Sometimes they turn out with fabulous results, and sometimes we wish we’d never gone, but overall its great to see what’s happening in the world off fabrics What’s your current status during the Covid 19 outbreak? During this awful time, I’ve been at work trying to keep things going and also doing our bit, by donating lots of fabrics to those making up for our incredible care workers. We remain open to all our new and old customers and of course, we’re taking all precautions regarding Covid-19. What new products can we expect from you in the future? I’d love to name all our new products coming for autumn and there are some very exciting ones, but that remains under lock and key and for our customers to contact us directly for more information. What I will say is that we currently have six 40ft containers on the way in, so it’s very exciting times. Also, please note, we supply fabrics to cover stalls, pvc to protect them, and of course fabrics for display or just to curtain areas off. We are open Monday to Friday and Sundays by appointment only.
