Where are you based? When did the company start? We’re an interior driven home fragrance wholesale supplier, offering classic and original ranges of products for your candle and wax melt businesses. Who founded the company and why? After living in Australia, running a candle business successfully for four years I decided I wanted to move to back to the UK. After looking carefully around the market in the UK I noticed there was no original jars, no unique fragrances or interior driven suppliers. All you could access was your basic clear cylinder in 2018. Luxury Candle Supplies was founded in Melbourne, Australia, and after much back and forward the UK arm was born, London Luxury candle supplies. How has the company evolved? Over the last five years, we’ve gone from strength to strength, quickly becoming the largest glassware supplier for original and luxury candle jars across the UK. We have over 20,000 customers, a turnover in the millions and we’re trusted by many candle makers to bring in innovative glass, wax that works, and fragrances that are strong. What do you specialise in? We specialise in candle making supplies, wax melt making supplies, and diffuser making supplies. Talk us through the current products you’re particularly excited about. Do you have a favourite? Probably the growth and attraction of the waxes. Over the last five years, we’ve noticed mass growth in the waxes we supply. We’re different to other suppliers in the UK. Our products are our own, created by candle makers. We’re not simply a distributor of waxes and other brands - we’re our own brand. So, here you can speak directly with the makers and developers of waxes. A27 has seen massive growth, it’s the wax responsible for candle refills across the UK. There’s a video from 2018 of me showcasing how to make a candle refill using this wax. And this is what sent the wax viral and how so many candle companies are dispatching candle refills out to their customers.
