We're dedicated to delivering exceptional value - whether you're a visitor seeking a fulfilling experience or a trader looking for a successful business opportunity. We take pride in the loyalty of our clients, many of whom have been with us for years, reflecting the strong relationships and trust we've built over time.
How has the company evolved?
Established in 2001, we've expanded over the past two decades from a haven for hobby and papercrafts to a dynamic forum for a wide range of textile disciplines - including quilting, sewing, knitting, fashion, embroidery, and a multitude of needlecrafts.
What shows do you promote?
Over the years, we've organised shows across the UK, but our recent focus has been on the South West, with events at Westpoint Arena in Exeter and the Royal Bath & West Showground, located between Bath and Bristol.
The Craft4Crafters and Stitching 4 All shows are aimed at a broad audience, including:
Craft enthusiasts – Hobbyists and individuals passionate about crafting, from beginners to experienced crafters, looking to explore new techniques, materials, and ideas.
Retailers and traders – Businesses in the textile and craft supply industries seeking to showcase their products, gain exposure, and connect with new and existing customers.
Artists and designers – Individuals interested in discovering unique materials or gaining inspiration for their creative projects.
Workshop participants – Those looking to learn new crafting skills or improve their expertise through hands-on workshops and demonstrations.
Families and general visitors – Anyone interested in experiencing the vibrant and interactive atmosphere, finding inspiration for DIY projects, or simply enjoying a creative day out.
What makes your shows different to other consumer shows?
What makes our Craft4Crafters and Stitching 4 All shows stand out against other like shows in the UK is the combination of a diverse range of exhibitors and engaging experiences. Our events are known for featuring a carefully selected mix of high-quality retailers from across the country, offering craft supplies, textiles, and equipment that visitors often can't find elsewhere.
In addition to the wide array of products, our shows are designed to be highly interactive, with hands-on workshops and live demonstrations led by experts. This focus on learning and participation makes the events not only enjoyable but also educational, allowing attendees to leave with new skills and techniques they can apply to their own creative projects.
The atmosphere at our shows is another aspect that sets us apart. We take pride in creating an environment that inspires creativity, with stunning displays and carefully curated attractions that immerse visitors in a world of artistic possibilities. This is complemented by the strong sense of community we've fostered over the years, with many of our clients returning year after year. The loyalty and trust we've built with both traders and attendees speak to the high-quality experience people have come to expect from us.
We also take great care in selecting great venues such as Westpoint Arena and the Royal Bath & West Showground, ensuring that our events are accessible, spacious, and comfortable for both exhibitors and visitors alike. Our commitment to offering great value is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're attending to explore new crafts or participating as a trader, we strive to ensure that everyone gets the most out of their time and investment at our shows. Hobby & crafts have boomed over the last two years! Have you noticed any new trends?
Hobbies and crafts have indeed experienced a significant boom over the past two years, driven in part by the growing desire for people to engage in more creative, hands-on activities, especially during the pandemic. Over the years, we've seen various crafts take centre stage and become the trend for a particular season. Recently, we've noticed a marked increase in the popularity of textile-based crafts, particularly felting, quilting, and other needlecraft arts. These crafts have really surged in demand, with many crafters exploring these techniques as both a form of self-expression and a way to create handmade, meaningful items.
One interesting trend we've observed is the crossover between paper crafters and textile enthusiasts. Many devoted paper crafters have begun incorporating their intricate cutting, design, and layering skills into sewing and other fabric-based crafts. This blend of techniques is giving rise to beautiful hybrid creations that merge the precision of paper crafting with the tactile satisfaction of textiles. It's inspiring to see how people are pushing the boundaries of traditional craft forms, often blending different mediums and discovering new ways to express their creativity.
Textile crafts have seen a resurgence, as they offer both practicality and an opportunity for personalisation. Whether it's handmade clothing, home decor, or accessories, people are more interested in creating something unique that reflects their personal style. This movement also taps into the broader trend of sustainability, where more individuals are focusing on making their own reusable, long-lasting products, from tote bags to quilts.
In addition to felting and needlecrafts, crafts like embroidery and knitting have gained significant traction, especially among younger generations who are drawn to their meditative qualities and creative potential. The rise of online platforms, video tutorials, and social media has also helped fuel these trends, making crafting more accessible to a global audience.
Overall, the craft industry is evolving, and we're witnessing a fascinating period where traditional techniques are being revitalized and blended with modern approaches. As this creative landscape continues to grow, it's exciting to see how crafters are finding new ways to engage with their chosen crafts and make them their own.
