How did your company start; what was the aim when it was launched? What was the response?
My company is StickerKitten and we design and make our own papercraft supplies for cardmakers including paper packs, stamps, stickers, ephemera and embellishments. I started the company in 2016 with my husband James, with the aim of making cute and contemporary products for UK crafters. We create all the artwork ourselves from a mix of hand drawn designs, watercolour paintings and digital artwork and everything is manufactured in the UK.
How often do you launch new lines and what are your best-selling designs?
Some of our best-selling ranges are our Bee Garden and Bird Garden collections and we launch new designs a couple of times a year.
How have you found life in lockdown; how are you planning for the future of your business?
We've found that in lockdown people are keen to take up new hobbies, including cardmaking, so we have created kits that include everything a beginner crafter needs to make pretty notecards to send to family and friends.
Is there anything else you'd like to add or say about the company?
Currently we're working on two new papercaft ranges to be released later this year. We have a new baby and he's just turned four months old so right now we're working on fitting StickerKitten in around family life! It can be slow creating new products but we love what we do and can't wait to share the new designs with everyone.
